These are just some things I've enjoyed seeing recently, or shows im currently watching.
I have a bajillion gripes with the series in its Post WAW 'New' era, but the one thing thats revitalized my interest in the US version is the 90 minute format introduced in 45. I feel much more excited to see the cast when I know so many of them are going to be fleshed out, instead of just like two or 3, which felt like what happened on 41 through 44. More airtime to share! Love to see that. We're only one episode in - maybe I'll make a page just for survivor... - but already we've met some wacky, interesting people. Venus seems like she might be a firecracker strategically. Q is my early winner pick (as of March 6th, BEFORE I've seen episode 2). Bhanu is going to be a goldmine, I can feel it. Tevin was built for any screen, and he can mug the camera all he wants, but he's giving Main Character Syndrome and will probably flame out late post-merge. I love Soda's energy, and I've never seen someone named Soda before. Hunter is hot. Uhh... I guess I'll have more to say when we're at the merge.
This is the best movie our friend group has decided to watch in quite some time. It becomes clear that Anatomy of a Fall is less about the whodunnit and more about the who involved in this scenario - specifically, the remaining two members of the family after the titular fall. The acting is excellent, the writing is top notch, and though the ending seems to be criticized by some, I think this film packs an emotional wallop from start to finish.
